चंडीगढ़. पंजाब कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष नवजोत सिंह सिद्धू (Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu) ने कोटकपूरा कांड को लेकर पंजाब के सीएम चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी (CM Charanjit Singh Channi) पर एक बार फिर हमला बोला है. विधानसभा सत्र के बाद प्रेस कांफ्रेंस को संबोधित करते हुए सिद्धू ने पंजाब के पूर्व डीजीपी सुमेध सिंह सैनी (Former Punjab DGP Sumedh Singh Saini) को मिली जमानत का मुद्दा उठाया. उन्होंने कहा कि कोटकपूरा कांड में तीसरी एसआईटी को गठित हुए 6 महीने हो चुके हैं, लेकिन अब तक कोई चार्जशीट दाखिल नहीं की गई है. यह नैतिक अधिकार का सवाल है. मुख्य आरोपी पूर्व डीजीपी सुमेध सिंह सैनी को जमानत मिल गई है. सिद्धू ने कहा कि यह व्यक्तिगत नहीं है, मैं पंजाब के साथ खड़ा हूं.
चन्नी सरकार पर दबाव बनाते हुए पंजाब कांग्रेस प्रमुख ने कहा कि पंजाब में सत्तारूढ़ सरकार में राजनीतिक इच्छाशक्ति की कमी है, क्योंकि राज्य के पूर्व डीजीपी सुमेध सिंह सैनी को दी गई ब्लैंकेट बेल के खिलाफ विशेष अनुमति याचिका (एसएलपी) दायर नहीं की गई जो कि बहबलकलां पुलिस फायरिंग मामले में नामजद मुख्य व्यक्तियों में से एक हैं. पंजाब विधानसभा सत्र के पहले दिन से इतर बोलते हुए सिद्धू ने कहा कि नए डीआईजी को कोटकपूरा पुलिस फायरिंग मामले की जांच पूरी करने में छह महीने से ज्यादा का समय हो गया है.
डीजीपी और एजी पर निशाना साधते हुए सिद्धू ने चन्नी सरकार की ओर इशारा करते हुए कहा कि या तो ‘भ्रष्ट’ अधिकारियों को चुनें या पीपीसीसी प्रमुख को. उन्होंने कहा कि वह अपने सिद्धांतों पर कायम हैं और उन लोगों में से नहीं हैं जिन्होंने कैप्टन अमरिंदर सिंह को गद्दी से उतारने के बाद अपना रुख बदला है.
गौरतलब है कि नवजोत सिंह सिद्धू ने रविवार को वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता एपीएस देओल पर पलटवार किया था, देओल ने सरकार और एजी कार्यालय के कामकाज में हस्तक्षेप करने और गलत सूचना फैलाने का आरोप लगाया था.
सिद्धू ने देओल के खिलाफ 12 ट्वीट्स किए थे, जिसमें उन्होंने कहा था कि न्याय अंधा है, लेकिन पंजाब के लोग नहीं हैं. हमारी कांग्रेस पार्टी बेअदबी के मामलों में न्याय देने के वादे के साथ सत्ता में आई, जिसमें आप (देओल) मुख्य साजिशकर्ताओं/अभियुक्तों के लिए उच्च न्यायालय में पेश हुए और हमारी सरकार के खिलाफ गंभीर आरोप लगाए.
