प्रधानमंत्री की वर्षा जल संरक्षण को प्रोत्साहित करने की बड़ी पहल है वाटशेड यात्रा- महाराज
जलागम मंत्री ने वाटरशेड यात्रा को हरी झंडी दिखाकर किया रवाना
देहरादून। जलवायु परिवर्तन के कारण प्राकृतिक जल स्रोतों के सूखने से घरेलू उपभोग और सिंचाई के लिए पानी की लगातार कमी हो रही है। खेतों की उत्पादकता घटना भी पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों से पलायन का एक बड़ा कारण रहा है। इन तमाम मामलों को देखते हुए राज्य सरकार जलागम क्षेत्र के आधार वर्षा जल संरक्षण और जल स्रोतों के पुनर्जीवन के लिए गंभीरता से प्रयास कर रही है।
उक्त बात प्रदेश के जलागम, पर्यटन, लोक निर्माण, सिंचाई, पंचायतीराज, ग्रामीण निर्माण, धर्मस्व एवं संस्कृति मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने निरंजनपुर स्थित एक होटल में मंगलवार को भूमि संसाधन विकास भारत सरकार के अंतर्गत संचालित हो रही प्रधानमंत्री कृषि सिंचाई योजना जलागम विकास 2.0 के माध्यम से राष्ट्रीय स्तर के जन संपर्क अभियान “वाटरशेड यात्रा” के शुभारंभ अवसर पर आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम के दौरान कही। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की विकसित भारत संकल्पना के आधार पर वर्षा जल संरक्षण को बहुत अधिक प्रोत्साहित किया जा रहा है। गांव गांव और जन-जन तक जलागम विकास के महत्व की जानकारी पहुंचाने और लोगों को वर्षा जल के संरक्षण हेतु प्रेरित करने के लिए प्रदेश में वाटरशेड यात्रा अभियान का श्री गणेश किया गया है।
प्रदेश के जलागम मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने वाटरशेड यात्रा अभियान को हरी झंडी दिखाने से पूर्व आयोजित कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि इस यात्रा अभियान के तहत प्रदेश के विभिन्न जनपदों के लोग परियोजना क्षेत्र में किए गए कार्यों और इसके परिणाम की जानकारी प्राप्त कर लाभ ले सकेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि आज हमारे किसान भाई खेती में अत्यधिक कैमिकल का इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं जिससे उत्तराखंड में गॉलब्लैडर के कैंसर की बीमारी हो रही है, इसकी रोकथाम के लिए भी हमारी सरकार प्रयास करेगी। इस अभियान में भारत सरकार के माध्यम से तैयार की गई यात्रा वैन गांव-गांव तक पहुंचेगी और उन्हें जल एवं पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति जागरूक भी करेगी।
महाराज ने लोगों की वर्तमान और भविष्य की जरूरत के लिए मृदा और जल संरक्षण के महत्व पर जोर देते हुए कहा कि उत्तराखंड में डब्ल्यूडीसी पीएमकेएसवाई परियोजना के प्रभावी और सफल कार्यान्वयन में सामुदायिक भागीदारी की आवश्यकता है। कार्यक्रम में धर्मपुर विधायक विनोद चमोली और “पदम श्री” कल्याण सिंह रावत “मैती” ने भी जल संचय व संरक्षण की महत्ता के बारे में अपने विचार रखे। वाटरशेड यात्रा शुभारंभ के मौके पर 30 ग्राम पंचायतों के लोगों के साथ-साथ ग्राफिक एरा और गुरु राम राय स्कूल के छात्र-छात्राओं ने भी प्रतिभा किया।
इस अवसर पर अपर मुख्य सचिव आनंद वर्धन, अपर मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी एसएलएनए हिमांशु खुराना, परियोजना निदेशक श्रीमती नीना ग्रेवाल, संयुक्त निदेशक एसएलएनए डॉक्टर ऐ० के०डिमरी, डॉ एस०के० सिंह, डॉ एस०के० उपाध्याय, डॉक्टर मीनाक्षी जोशी और नवीन बरफाल सहित अनेक विभागीय अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी मौजूद रहे। कार्यक्रम का संचालन डॉक्टर जेसी पाण्डे ने किया।
