नई दिल्ली। देश में वैदिक शिक्षा को लेकर जल्द ही एक नई और बड़ी पहल की जा सकती है। केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्रालय वेद आधारित शिक्षा बोर्ड को मान्यता देने जा रहा है। वेद आधारित शिक्षा का यह बोर्ड किसी भी अन्य सामान्य शिक्षा बोर्ड की तरह कार्य करेगा। इस प्रक्रिया में न केवल वेद के जानकार बल्कि संस्कृत, भाषा और गणित के विशेषज्ञ भी शामिल किए जाएंगे।
दरअसल केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्रालय छात्रों को वैदिक शिक्षा एवं वेद आधारित ज्ञान मुहैया कराने का पक्षधर है। हालांकि अभी तक वैदिक विद्या के लिए डिग्री की कोई व्यवस्था नहीं है। इसी के मद्देनजर भारत सरकार वेद प्रणाली को आधुनिक शिक्षा प्रणाली से जोडऩे का निर्णय लेने जा रही है। इसके लिए एक बोर्ड बनाने की प्रक्रिया शुरू हो गई है। राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति के तहत आधुनिक समाज में वेदों के पाठ की प्रासंगिकता बनाए रखने के लिए एक विशेष वैदिक शिक्षा बोर्ड अस्तित्व में आएगा।
वेद शिक्षा पर केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान का कहना है कि वेदों के सस्वर पाठ की प्रासंगिकता को आधुनिक समाज में बनाए रखने के लिए एक खास वैदिक शिक्षा बोर्ड अस्तित्व में आएगा। केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्रालय का मानना है कि वेद हमारी संस्कृति का आधार है। हमारी वैदिक परंपरा कालजयी है। शिक्षा मंत्रालय ने इस विषय में आधिकारिक जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि वेदों को विद्वता के साथ लोक अभ्यास का विषय बनाने के लिए भारत सरकार ने महर्षि सान्दीपनि प्रतिष्ठान की अगुआई में हमारे लोक आस्था के चारों धाम व मां कामाख्या के पदस्थान पर पांच वेद विद्यापीठ के निर्माण का निर्णय लिया है।
वेद विद्या से जुड़े रहे शिक्षाविद् शंकर लाल चतुवेर्दी का इस विषय पर कहना है कि राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति के तहत भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा को आगे बढ़ाने में वेद शिक्षा खासी महत्वपूर्ण हो सकती है। वेद शिक्षा किसी धार्मिक पूजा पद्धति का विषय नहीं है बल्कि इसमें बेहतर जीवन जीने का ज्ञान एवं विज्ञान है। चतुवेर्दी के मुताबिक वेद का यह ज्ञान समाज के सभी वर्गों एवं संप्रदायों के लिए लाभकारी सिद्ध हो सकता है। वैदिक गणित इसका जीता जागता उदाहरण है। चतुवेर्दी के मुताबिक वैदिक गणित का लाभ समाज के लगभग सभी छात्रों को मिल रहा है।
वहीं मौजूदा समय में कुछ गिने-चुने प्रतिष्ठित संस्थान छात्रों को वेद विद्या प्रदान कर रहे हैं। वेदों के सस्वर पाठ की प्रासंगिकता को आधुनिक समाज में बनाए रखने व वेदों के संरक्षण और संवर्धन के लिए महर्षि सान्दीपनि राष्ट्रीय वेदविद्या प्रतिष्ठान देश भर के 6,000 से अधिक विद्यार्थियों को शिक्षा प्रदान कर रहा है।
वैदिक गणित की चर्चा स्वयं प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी भी हाल ही में मन की बात कार्यक्रम के दौरान कर चुके हैं। गौरतलब है कि मन की बात कार्यक्रम के दौरान प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने कहा कि विश्व को गणित के सबसे महत्त्वपूर्ण सूत्रों से अवगत कराने वाले भारत के लोगों के लिए गणित एक समस्या नहीं सहज विषय होना चाहिए। अपने बच्चों को यदि हम वैदिक गणित सिखाएंगे तो उनका गणित को लेकर डर भी समाप्त हो जाएगा।
शिक्षा मंत्रालय चाहता है कि वैदिक गणित के जरिए गणित के क्षेत्र में भारत के योगदान, आचार्य पिंगला, आचार्य आर्यभट्ट, रामानुजन व पुरी के पूर्व शंकराचार्य जगद्गुरू स्वामी भारतीकृष्ण तीर्थ महाराज जैसे गणितज्ञों द्वारा पोषित भारत की समृद्ध गणित परंपराओं से युवाओं का मार्गदर्शन किया जाए।
अपने मन की बात कार्यक्रम के दौरान प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि वैदिक मैथ से आप बड़ी-बड़ी साइंटिफिक प्रॉब्लम भी सॉल्व कर सकते हैं। मैं चाहूंगा कि सभी माता-पिता अपने बच्चों को वैदिक मैथ जरूर सिखाएं। संस्कृत वैदिक शिक्षा के प्रसिद्ध शिक्षाविद हेमनगर कोटि प्रधानमंत्री के कथन से पूरी तरह सहमत हैं। उनका कहना है कि वैदिक मैथ सीखने से छात्रों का कॉन्फिडेंस तो बढ़ेगा ही, साथ ही उनके ब्रेन की एनालिटिकल पावर भी बढ़ेगी। इससे जिन बच्चों के मन में गणित को लेकर जो कुछ भी डर है वह भी समाप्त हो जाएगा।
