नैनीताल. अपनी किताब ‘सनराइज ओवर अयोध्या’ को लेकर विवादों में आए पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री और कांग्रेस नेता सलमान खुर्शीद के घर पर सोमवार को कुछ असामाजिक तत्वों ने हमला कर दिया. खुर्शीद के नैनीताल स्थित आवास पर कुछ लोगों ने पथराव किया और आग लगा दी. वारदात के बाद पुलिस ने राकेश कपिल नामक व्यक्ति सहित 20 अन्य लोगों पर मामला दर्ज किया है. डीजीआई नीलेश आनंद ने बताया कि सभी आरोपियों की पहचान की जा रही है और इन पर सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी.
सूत्रों के अनुसार सलमान खुर्शीद के घर पर हमला करने वाले लोगों के हाथ में कथित तौर पर एक राजनीतिक पार्टी का झंडा भी था. हालांकि इस बात की आधिकारिक पुष्टि नहीं की गई है.
किताब पर विवाद
गौरतलब है कि सलमान खुर्शीद की लिखी किताब सनराइज ओवर अयोध्या विवादों में है. किसातब में हिंदुत्व की राजनीति को खतरनाक बताया गया है और कई प्रतिबंधित संगठनों से इसकी तुलना भी की गई है. इस बात की निंदा कई हिंदुवादी संगठनों सहित ही राजनेताओं ने भी की है. इसके बाद देश के कई इलाकों में खुर्शीद के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन भी किया जा चुका है.

सलमान खुर्शीद के खुद के घर पर हुए हमले की तस्वीरों को सोशल नेटवर्किंग वेबसाइट फेसबुक पर साझा किया. इसके साथ ही उन्होंने लिखा कि क्या मैं अभी भी गलत हूं? क्या ये हिंदुत्व हो सकता है.
खुर्शीद के घर पर हुए इस हमले के बाद कांग्रेस नेता व सांसद शशि थरूर ने भी ट्वीट कर घटना की निंदा की है. थरूर ने लिखा कि एक राजनेता जिन्होंने अंतरराष्ट्रीय मंचों पर देश को गौरवान्वित किया. आगे उन्होंने एक बार फिर असहिष्णुता का जिक्र करते हुए कहा कि हमारे देश की राजनीति में असहिष्णुता के बढ़ने को लेकर सत्तासीन लोगों को इसकी निंदा करनी चाहिए.
