ट्रेन के जनरल डिब्बे में सफर करने वालों के लिए अच्छी खबर, अब 20 रूपए में मिलेगा खाना
नयी दिल्ली। देश में चुनावी मौसम शुरू होते ही भारतीय रेलवे को गरीबों की याद आने लगी है और इसी क्रम में अब जनरल डिब्बे में यात्रा करने वालों के लिए मात्र 20 रुपये में पूड़ी-सब्ज़ी उपलब्ध कराने का फैसला किया है। भारतीय रेलवे खानपान एवं पर्यटन निगम (आईआरसीटीसी) ने गरीब यात्रियों के लिए 20 रुपये में सात पूडिय़ां (175 ग्राम), आलू की सब्ज़ी (150 ग्राम) और अचार (12 ग्राम) की इकानोमी मील शुरू की है। इसके अलावा 50 रुपये में स्नैक्स मील का मैन्यू भी शुरू किया गया है इस करीब 350 ग्राम के इस मील में चावल और छोले/राजमा, खिचड़ी, छोले एवं कुलचे/भटूरे, पावभाजी, मसाला डोसा शामिल है।
आरंभ में यह सेवा 64 स्टेशनों पर शुरू की गई है। अभी 54 में सेवा शुरू हो चुकी है और बाकी में शुरू की जा रही है। इस में हर प्लेटफॉर्म पर आगे और पीछे जनरल कोच के सामने इस भोजन के स्टाल लगाए जाएंगे। उल्लेखनीय है कि पहले जनरल कोच में यात्रा करने वाले लोगों के लिए 10 रुपये में पांच पूड़ी, आलू की सब्ज़ी और अचार मिला करता था। कोविड काल में यह व्यवस्था गड़बड़ा गई थी।
