हैदराबाद। तेलंगाना के मुख्यमंत्री के पद पर कांग्रेस नेता रेवंत रेड्डी ने शपथ ग्रहण की। भट्टी विक्रमार्क को उपमुख्यमंत्री बनाया गया है। 11 मंत्रियों ने भी शपथ ली। राज्यपाल तमिलिसाई सौंदर्यराजन ने एल.बी. स्टेडियम में हजारों लोगों की उपस्थिति में एक सार्वजनिक कार्यक्रम में रेवंत रेड्डी, विक्रमार्क और 10 मंत्रियों को पद और गोपनीयता की शपथ दिलाई। 54 वर्षीय नेता ने अपने समर्थकों के जोरदार जयकारों के बीच भारत के सबसे युवा राज्य के दूसरे मुख्यमंत्री के रूप में शपथ ली।
दलित नेता मल्लू भट्टी विक्रमार्क ने उपमुख्यमंत्री पद की शपथ ली। दो महिलाओं समेत दस मंत्रियों ने भी शपथ ली। रेवंत रेड्डी दोपहर 1:04 बजे शपथ लेने वाले थे, लेकिन शपथ ग्रहण में 15 मिनट की देरी हुई। कार्यक्रम स्थल पर पहुंचने वाले कई वीआईपी स्टेडियम के आसपास ट्रैफिक जाम में फंस गए थे। रेवंत रेड्डी सजी हुई खुली गाड़ी में खड़े होकर कांग्रेस नेता सोनिया गांधी के साथ स्टेडियम पहुंचे।

शपथ ग्रहण में एआईसीसी अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खडग़े, राहुल गांधी, प्रियंका गांधी वाड्रा, के.सी. वेणुगोपाल, कर्नाटक के मुख्यमंत्री सिद्दारमैया, उपमुख्यमंत्री डी.के. शिवकुमार, हिमाचल प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू और अन्य शीर्ष कांग्रेस नेता शामिल हुए। कांग्रेस पार्टी ने 30 नवंबर के विधानसभा चुनाव में 119 सदस्यीय सदन में 64 सीटें हासिल करके भारत राष्ट्र समिति (बीआरएस) से सत्ता छीन ली। 4 दिसंबर को नवनिर्वाचित विधायकों की बैठक में खडग़े को सीएलपी नेता का नाम तय करने के लिए अधिकृत किया गया था।
